Japanese AV actress Eimi Fukada is currently in the news.

In February, Fukada made headlines for failing to pay approximately $720,000 in taxes.

A tax error by Fukada’s former agency came back to haunt her. Despite earning around 150 million yen ($1.35 million) over seven years, she received a tax notice due to the agency’s mistake.

At the time, her agency assured her they handled her taxes correctly, but that was false.

One foreign media outlet reported that Fukada cried when she learned she had to pay taxes.

Fukada paid all her saved 20 million yen ($180,000) in taxes, leaving her penniless.

However, it has been reported that her tax delinquency issue was resolved two months after the news broke.

According to another foreign media report, Fukada took care of her 20 million yen tax debt following the delinquency incident. Yida Yuki, the president of an internet celebrity company, reportedly settled the remaining 60 million yen (approximately $540,000).

Fukada has to repay Yida Yuki, who settled the remaining 60 million yen for her, but she shared a much brighter update than when the incident first broke out.

Eimi Fukada, who is active as a Japanese AV actress, has about 2.6 million followers, proving her popularity.

In a previous interview with a media outlet, she stirred up a controversy by revealing that she has filmed over 1,000 sex scenes since her debut.
