Jackie Chan Shuts Down Health Rumors: ‘I’m Still Kickin’!’

TV Report Views

Actor Jackie Chan has again drawn attention by denying rumors about his health.

Chan recently appeared publicly at a school event, where he took the outdoor stage. His presence excited the students, who were eager to capture the moment. Footage of Chan’s appearance quickly went viral, sparking a lively online response.

When many students expressed concern about his health, he said, “I spend an hour every morning turning my hair white. I’ve gotten older, but I’m not as old as you think, so don’t worry too much. I’m still healthy.” He thus dismissed recent rumors about his health.

Chan explained that he deliberately turns his hair white for the characters he portrays.

Finally, Chan said, “Please look forward to the upcoming films ‘Whispers of Gratitude’ and ‘The Legend.'” He was surrounded by a large crowd and received cheers as he left the venue.

Chan had appeared at an event in Sichuan last March with prominent wrinkles and white hair.

When photos of Jackie Chan circulated online, headlines about his “rapid aging” began to appear. Chan clarified that his aged appearance was solely for a role in his latest movie. “The character requires me to have white hair, a white beard, and look old,” he explained.

Jackie Chan entered the entertainment industry in 1962 with his role in Big and Little Wong Tin Bar. Since then, he has gained international fame through movies like Drunken Master, Project A, and Rumble in the Bronx.

He married Joan Lin in 1982 and has three children.
