No Sons Please: Ukrainian Model Tatiana Marchyshyna’s Bold Family Plan

Ukrainian actress Tatiana Marchyshyna (25) has stirred up interest by expressing her preference for not having a son.

On May 6, China Daily reported that Marchyshyna, currently living in Taiwan, revealed her plans for children. She has expressed a desire for a daughter over a son.

Marchyshyna recently interacted with fans on social media. When a fan asked if she had plans for a second child, Marchyshyna shared a picture taken with her daughter and replied, “I plan to have a second child next year or the year after. I do not wish for a son.”

Expressing her desire for a daughter, Marchyshyna said, “I want a large family,” and “I hope to have 4 to 5 daughters.” She gave birth to her daughter Karina in January.

Marchyshyna, who hails from Ukraine, has also spoken about the hardships caused by the Russia-Ukraine war. She said, “Due to the war, Ukrainian men cannot leave Ukraine. I don’t know when my father will be able to meet Karina,” expressing her longing for her father in Ukraine.

Tatiana Marchyshyna married Malaysian actor Hero Tai, who is 12 years her senior, last year. 

Last month, Tai revealed his doting fatherly side on social media, saying, “Children are the greatest love. Whether there is a price or not, I will love (my children).”
