Lisa Shuts Down Busiest Thailand Streets for Music Video and Paid Shopowners

TV Report Views

According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP), Lisa reportedly paid 20,000 baht (USD 600) to the shopkeepers for emptying the street in Bangkok’s Chinatown to shoot the music video for her solo song “Rockstar.”

The amount given is way above the average monthly salary in Thailand. Additionally, Lisa offered 1,000 baht (USD 30) to pedestrians. It was to completely shut down the street for three days from 2 AM to 5 AM. Since the release of the “Rockstar” music video, Bangkok’s Chinatown has been crowded with Lisa’s fans and tourists. In response, the Thai government announced plans to create a walking tour course in Chinatown for tourism.

Recently, Lisa shared on her social media, “I’m so thrilled that I can finally share my new single ROCKSTAR with you guys. I’ve been working on this project for quite some time, and I had so much fun while preparing it.” “Thank you for your patience, and I’m thrilled to celebrate this with you all,” she added.

“Rockstar” is the first song Lisa released after establishing her label, LLoud. On her birthday, Lisa also opened an official YouTube channel and revealed her mansion for the first time.

Lisa also made headlines when she purchased a mansion in Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, for 7.5 billion won (USD 6.3 million) in cash. Since last year, there have been speculations that Lisa is dating Frédéric Arnault. He is the son of Bernard Arnault, the head of the luxury brand group Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH). As fans caught their dating scenes, Lisa indirectly admitted to her relationship by posting a picture at the Rodin Museum on her social media, where she had a date with Frédéric Arnault last May.
