Twinning with Lisa? Thai Girl’s Striking Resemance to K-Pop Icon Lights Up Social Media!

TV Report Views

A young girl from Thailand is making headlines for her striking resemblance to Lisa from BLACKPINK.

On July 1, the Bangkok Post featured 17-year-old Kuilthida, a young student helping her parents sell chicken during her summer break at the Wat Asokaram market in Taiban Tamboon Samut Prakan Province, Central Thailand. She went viral after her appearance on a popular food influencer’s YouTube channel called “KiNG Street Food” while introducing Thai street food.

After KiNG Street Food introduced her as Lisa’s twin sister, viewers online reacted to Kuilthida with comments agreeing with her resemblance, saying, “She looks a lot like Lisa.”

Kuilthida’s fame has grown as market visitors post her pictures on social media. Overwhelmed by the unexpected popularity, she shared in an interview with the Bangkok Post, “I was a bit embarrassed and flustered.”

“I’ve always been interested in the entertainment industry and involved in related school-related activities,” she added. Kuilthida was flattered to be compared to Lisa from BLACKPINK and shared that, given the chance, she would want to work in the entertainment industry.

Lisa recently released her new song, “Rockstar,” marking her first solo activity under LLOUD, the label she established after leaving YG.

The song and music video have attracted significant attention, garnering 32.4 million views within 24 hours of their release.
