Shocking news was reported concerning a 9-year-old elementary school student who demanded a sexual favor in response to a classmate breaking their eraser.

According to Malaysian media outlet Kosmo!, a 9-year-old girl in the same class revealed that two elementary school students had sexually assaulted her.

Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, the director of the Malaysian Federal Criminal Investigation Department (CID), mentioned the group sexual assault case of a 9-year-old girl that occurred last year at the International Regulatory Conference (IRC) forum. Shuhaily shared, “The suspects are all minors aged 9 and 10, and it was not prosecuted due to the claim that it occurred under mutual agreement.”

The victim lent an eraser to a male classmate, but it broke during use. When the victim said she didn’t have the money to buy a new eraser, her classmate and his friend reportedly threatened her, saying she had to perform a sexual favor to pay off the debt.

The victim accepted the demand because she had no money to buy a new eraser.

Shuhaily said, “Most of the legal rape cases are occurring due to low income and the absence of adult supervision,” and expressed concern about the fact that they can access pornography through social media. “Parents should impart accurate sexual education to their children,” he added.
