Bang Si Hyuk, chairman of HYBE, shared a recent update for the first time since his public dispute with ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.

On June 13, Bang shared a photo posing affectionately with BTS member Jin, with the caption, “Congratulations on your successful return.” According to Jin’s outfit, the picture was taken at Jin’s recent event at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul. Bang attended and handed Jin a bouquet to congratulate him on his discharge.

His post drew attention as it was his first public update since the dispute with Min over management rights.

Bang’s noticeably slimmer appearance drew the most attention, as he had not been in the public eye even during the conflict with Min and ADOR.

Many were curious about Bang’s whereabouts as he had paused social media and stopped appearing in public events, unlike Min, who appeared at two press conferences and continued her support for NewJeans’ press activities on social media.

It was the first time many had seen Bang at Jin’s event, a fan event on June 13 that kicked off his meaningful return after his discharge on June 12. He had a special hug event in which 1,000 lucky fans received a hug from Jin.

HYBE recently announced that Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE will debut in the U.S. Bang shared with KATSEYE on the Dream Academy live finale, “I hope you represent the voice of a new era and generation and inspire more young people around the world that ‘dreams do come true.'”
