Pledis Entertainment announced Tuesday that Seventeen members Hoshi and Woozi are scheduled to commence their mandatory military service in mid-September. Woozi will enlist on September 15, with Hoshi following suit the next day. Both will serve as active-duty soldiers in the South Korean Army, becoming the third and fourth members of the popular K-pop group to fulfill their national duty after Jeonghan and Wonwoo.

The same-aged duo recently made waves as a subunit, dropping their single album “Beam” in March, which featured the track “96ers.” Fans can catch the pair live during their inaugural concert tour “Warning,” kicking off in Seoul on July 11. After a three-show run in the capital, the tour will hit Busan and Gwangju before venturing overseas to Taipei and Yokohama, Japan.
