(Credit: Big Hit Music)]V of BTS has hit a major milestone, with the music video for his solo track “Singularity” surpassing 200 million views on YouTube, Big Hit Music announced Wednesday.

The sultry R&B number, which serves as the intro to BTS’s 2018 album “Love Yourself: Tear,” has become one of V’s most iconic solo performances. Showcasing his velvety vocals over a jazz-infused melody, the song garnered critical acclaim, earning spots on the year-end best songs lists of prestigious publications like The New York Times and The Guardian. It was the sole K-pop entry to receive such recognition, and also landed among The Los Angeles Times’ top ten songs of 2018.

The track’s popularity extends beyond YouTube, with “Singularity” recently crossing the 300 million stream mark on Spotify this May. It has also dominated the iTunes Top Songs Chart, reaching the number one spot in 47 regions worldwide.
