A student from a prestigious university has been arrested and charged with the murder of his mother.

According to the CTWANT website, on April 8, the murder victim was a female elementary school teacher from Florida and the mother of the murderer.

Multiple media outlets reported that the mother passed away on April 6 after visiting her son’s home.

The son had invited his mother to spend the weekend with him.

In a shocking turn of events, the mother’s visit reportedly turned violent. She was allegedly attacked by her son shortly after arriving. Despite her attempts to escape, she tragically died.

The son reportedly contacted authorities himself after his mother’s death.

The son shared during the police investigation that he loved his mother, but there were moments of frustration.

He then admitted, “I’ve wanted to kill my mother for a very long time.”

The son is currently serving time in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder.
