BTS’s Jin Shines at Paris Olympics Torch Relay: Fans and Officials Go Wild

The official Paris Olympics X account pinned the explosively popular video of BTS member Jin’s torch relay.

With the caption, “11 Days until the 2024 Paris Olympics! Watch the torch get closer with Jin,” Many fans were excited to see the video of Jin waving to the crowd while holding the torch in one hand and walking for the torch relay.

Following a fan’s “My man” comment on the video, the official Paris Olympics account responded with “Our man,” which gained positive reactions from viewers online.

The love for Jin from the Paris Olympics account did not stop there. They also expressed their feelings for him under a photo of him carrying the torch by writing, “Kim Seokjin (Jin’s full name)’s team always wins,” with a heart emoji.

The official account of the 2028 LA Olympics also joined in on the fun, making people laugh by leaving a comment that wrote: “Hi, Jin,” and the official MTV account created buzz for coining the term “JIN-lympics.”

Jin’s participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics torch relay had the world watching as Mexico’s biggest broadcasting station, N Más (Televisa), showcased the event.

Fans reacted to the cute and hilarious banter between the official accounts of the Olympics and brands by showering Jin with praise and love. They noted how handsome he became after his military service and how proud people were of him representing South Korea.

After completing the torch relay for the Paris Olympics among thousands of ARMY (BTS fandom), Jin expressed his gratitude through his agency HYBE, sharing, “I feel so honored to be able to participate in the torch relay today. Thank you to ARMY, who allowed me to do the torch relay.”

Jin completed his military service last June and is busy actively filling the void for BTS in the second half of the year.
