Jin, the eldest member of BTS, has garnered widespread praise from fans for returning to his former military unit and keeping a promise to his junior soldiers.

Jin drew significant attention by revisiting his military unit after his discharge on the 22nd and sharing photos with his junior soldiers. In the images, Jin, dressed casually, is seen flashing a bright smile and giving a V-sign to his juniors.

One junior soldier expressed their gratitude, saying, “I didn’t believe he would return after discharge.” Jin was discharged in June after serving as a trainer in the 5th Infantry Division.

Fans have reacted positively to Jin’s gesture, with comments like, “Even if military life was good, visiting one’s unit is not easy,” “It seems he really bonded well with his juniors,” and “It’s impressive that Jin made an effort to visit, even if it’s tough to find the time.” His sense of duty has deeply moved many.

In addition to his recent visit, Jin has been named a Seoul Tourism Ambassador and will represent the Feel Soul Good campaign. He also works as an ambassador for various global brands, including Gucci.

In contrast, Suga has been facing significant controversy following a DUI. He was found alone after falling from an electric scooter in Seoul’s Yongsan District on the 6th. His blood alcohol content was reported at an alarming 0.227%, indicating severe intoxication.

After the incident, Suga and his agency apologized but were criticized for minimizing the situation by calling the scooter an electric kickboard. Delays in responding to police summons have also fueled public criticism.

Amid allegations of neglect of duty during his military service, Suga has encountered growing backlash, including calls for his departure and protest banners appearing in front of HYBE’s headquarters.
