Haribo Takes a Sweet Leap: First Standalone Store Opens in South Korea!

Haribo, the world’s leading manufacturer of fruit gummy products, has been selling its sweet treats in South Korea for over a decade. The company established Haribo Korea Ltd. in early 2023 to strengthen its presence in the local jelly gum market.

A company spokesperson revealed that South Korea has recently emerged as Haribo’s largest market in Asia, though specific sales figures were not disclosed.

The company has plans to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across the country in the coming years, the spokesperson added.

The flagship store, a first for Asia, is located at Shinsegae Simon Premium Outlets in Yeoju, approximately 65 kilometers southeast of Seoul. (Yonhap)
