The teaser featuring six units and 24 members of Steel Troops 3, the Republic of Korea’s most formidable military survival show, has created quite a buzz.

The co-produced entertainment program by Channel A and ENA, set to premiere on the evening of September 19th at 10:30 PM, kicked off with an awe-inspiring teaser known as the “doyeol (intense respect) salute.” The teaser signaled the fierce competition between the top special forces of South Korea and the United States, marking the beginning of a global showdown for honor and pride.

The teaser video started on the Chunwangbong class Landing Ships Tanks-II(LSTII), where an endless horizon stretches out. The breathtaking visuals, captured by a drone, focused on the Republic of Korea Navy’s main landing ship, the “Cheonjabongham,” raising expectations for the overwhelming scale and cinematic missions to come.

The first unit to reveal themselves among the six units in Steel Troops 3 was the Special Forces (Army Special Warfare Command), the winning unit from Season 2. Led by Team Leader Bae Yi-jeong, the Special Forces, including Park Mun-ho, Jeong Seung-hoon, and Kim Dae-sung, appeared with a resolute cry, “If it can’t be done, make it possible!”

Next up, the 707 Special Mission Unit was highlighted with their slogan, “Advocate logic through action and prove the process through results!” Hong Beom-seok, who led the team to victory at the World Firefighter Games, drew particular attention. In addition to Hong Beom-Seok, the team included Oh Yo-han, Park Chan-gyu, and Lee Yu-Seok.

The UDT (Navy Special Warfare Flotilla), the winning unit from Season 1, appeared in a row led by Team Leader Kim Kyung-baek, shouting, “Nothing is impossible. Victory is certain!” The focus is on legendary instructor Kim Kyung-baek, who trained Dex, Yook Jun-seo, Jung Jong-hyun, and Season 1’s hero, Jung Jong-hyun.

The highly secretive HID (Army Intelligence Detachment), an elite special forces unit with everything shrouded in secrecy, appeared in black suits, declaring, “Fight valiantly and die with honor!” The anticipation is high, led by Lee Dong-gyu, who played a pivotal role in Season 2 and featured charismatic glances from Team Leader Kang Min-ho and members Go Ya-yoong and Park Ji-yoon.

For the first time this season, the UDU (Navy Intelligence Detachment), following HID in black suits, also appeared and raised curiosity by shouting, “We choose death for the honor of our homeland!” These individuals, part of the National Intelligence Service’s former Navy Intelligence Detachment dedicated to the nation and people, included Team Leader Kim Soo-won, Kim Hyun-young, Go In-ho, and Lee Byeong-joo.

Lastly, the cast revealed the joint team of U.S. special forces, featuring Kaz Larson, Team Leader of the U.S. Navy SEALs (Navy SEAL), Jeff Gamm, Ian Schnelly, and the U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, Will LaVero. This U.S. special forces team, representing the best of the United States, joins the elite South Korean special forces in a monumental showdown.

Viewers eagerly await the showdown between the U.S. special forces and South Korea’s elite special forces, creating enormous excitement.

The production team stated, “To find the true champions, Season 3 of Steel Troops features not only ace players like Jeong Jong-hyun and Lee Dong-gyu from the previous season but also notable figures like Hong Beom-seok, the first-ever winner of the World Firefighter Games, and even the aces of the ‘world’s number one military force,’ the U.S. special forces. We ask for your expectations for the fiery battle of 24 members from six units in ‘Steel Troops 3,’ which takes place for the first time amid a cold snap.”

The Republic of Korea’s first and finest military survival program, Steel Troops 3, which shines as the Top 10 Drama TV Buzz and Netflix’s Today’s Top 10 Series in South Korea, airs on Channel A and ENA on September 19th, Tuesday, at 10:30 PM.
