Lee Da Hye, who recently began her cheerleading career in Taiwan, faced a setback after a promising start.

According to a March 24 report by foreign media outlet ETtoday, Lee Da Hye has received criticism from some fans following her transfer.

On March 22, cheerleader Lee Da Hye announced via social media her transfer from the Taiwanese baseball team Rakuten Monkeys, where she had been a fan favorite for roughly a year, to the Wei Chuan Dragons. This news was met with disappointment by some Rakuten Monkeys fans.

Following the announcement of Lee’s transfer, some Rakuten Monkeys fans expressed their surprise on social media after she unfollowed former colleagues on her accounts.

Lee’s transfer to the Wei Chuan Dragons sparked mixed reactions among Rakuten Monkeys fans on social media. Some fans expressed disappointment with her unfollowing former colleagues, while others questioned the pricing of her upcoming April fan meeting. Comments included, “I was planning to support Lee despite the transfer, but this is disheartening,” and comparisons were drawn between the cost of her fan meeting and those of singers.

Lee will make her singing debut with the release of her album HUSH on March 30. She will hold a showcase and fan meeting in Taiwan on April 3 and 4. Tickets for her fan meeting cost $100.

Lee debuted in Taiwan as the first Korean cheerleader last year and received much attention. She shot various advertisements and boasted immense popularity as a celebrity in Taiwan.
