Inside Stephen Chow’s Fortune: Who Gets What in His Will?

[TV Report= Hanna Ahreum] Hong Kong actor and comedian Stephen Chow, known for his immense wealth, has drafted his will, attracting public attention.

On the 2nd, the foreign media China Daily reported that Stephen Chow drafted his will and mentioned actresses Xu Jiao and Cecilia Cheung.

Recently, rumors about Chow’s will have been circulating on social media. The source of the rumors claimed that Chow mentioned Xu Jiao and Cecilia Cheung in his will.

Chow has consistently shown his affection for Xu Jiao since 2008. The two bonded when Xu Jiao played Chow’s child in the movie CJ7 when she was 9. In a past interview, Chow said, “Xu Jiao reminded me of myself when I was young,” acknowledging her as his goddaughter.

The relationship between Chow and Cecilia Cheung is also unique. The two starred in the 1999 film King of Comedy and have maintained their relationship since reuniting in the 2001 film Shaolin Soccer.

Stephen Chow is known to have written his will in detail regarding the division of his property and matters related to his company shares. His net worth is around 880 million ringgit (approximately $210 million).

Chow continues to be active and is reportedly in good health. Neither Chow nor his agency has made any comments regarding his will.

Meanwhile, Chow significantly influenced the Hong Kong film industry as a director, screenwriter, and actor.

Since his debut in 1980, Chow has had several public relationships but has not married.
