At the Navy completion ceremony, 28-year-old Taeyong of NCT 127 displayed his mature demeanor.

On the afternoon of May 17th, the 702nd Navy completion ceremony, hosted by the Korean Navy Education Command, was live-streamed on the Korean Navy’s official YouTube channel.

During the solemn ceremony, Taeyong took the podium representing the navy recruits. He read a letter of gratitude to his parents and expressed his feelings upon completion, looking dashing and reminiscent of a “marine boy.”

Taeyong said, “The past five weeks of respecting and caring for each other more than our individual feelings were not short. The time we spent together made us stronger and created a better us as we are now,” extending his greetings.

Additionally, Taeyong said in an interview, “As a member of the Korean Navy, I want to further promote the pride and nobility of the Navy.”

Taeyong also posted several photos on NCT’s official social media accounts, letting fans know he had safely completed the ceremony.

In the released photos, Taeyong is seen saluting the camera, dressed in a white military uniform symbolizing the navy against a backdrop of the blue sea.

TAEYONG recently wrote on NCT’s official Instagram, “NCTzen (Fandom name)! I want to inform you that the 702nd private, Lee Taeyong, has completed his course! Victory! You’re all doing well, right? I’m just getting started. I wanted to let you know that I am doing well. I’ll be a healthy and healthy man and see you again,” he wrote, along with several photos.

Fans smiled at the sight of his more mature look and are sending support for his upcoming military life.

Taeyong, born in 1995, announced his enlistment as an active-duty soldier in the Navy on April 15th. He became the first NCT member to fulfill his national defense duties.
