Beloved Actor Fei Xiang Mourns the Loss of His Mother at 93

Sanlih Online Entertainment News reported that on May 20th, Fei Xiang announced his mother’s passing on social media, mourning her loss.

Xiang’s mother passed away at the age of 93. He posted a black and white photo of his mother on social media with the message, “I am by my mother’s side now, but she has left me forever.”

He continued, “My heart aches, but I am proud of my mother. She will always remain in my heart.”

Fans who heard the news expressed condolences online with comments such as, “Rest in peace. Wishing for happiness on the other side.”

In a past interview, Xiang mentioned that despite his mother, who has had dementia for five years, she still recognized him.

He said, “I believe my mother was able to find happiness even with dementia because she was very strong.”

Fei Xiang received much love as a well-known Taiwanese-American singer and now works as an actor, recently attending the French Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.
