Soodam Apologizes for Misunderstood Baseball Game Appearance with Male Friend

Secret Number’s Soodam clarified rumors of a romantic relationship sparked by a live baseball broadcast.

On May 19th, Soodam apologized, “I’m sorry if I surprised you on our fourth anniversary. He’s a friend I’ve known since high school, and there’s no room for misunderstanding,” denying dating rumors.

Soodam was spotted at the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League game between the Doosan Bears and Lotte Giants at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. Rumors of a relationship arose when Soodam was caught on camera standing next to a man during the national anthem, and posted a picture taken during the baseball game on her social media on May 19th, the day of Secret Number’s debut anniversary.

Soodam bowed her head repeatedly saying, ‘I’m sorry for creating a situation that could lead to misunderstanding. I’m reflecting a lot because I think my actions disappointed you more than whether or not he’s a friend.”

She concluded her post by writing, “I should have been more careful with my actions. I didn’t consider your feelings. I’ll be more careful in the future to not disappoint you and will work hard.”

Secret Number, the group Soodam is a part of, released a single album Starlight in August last year.
