Chinese TV Host Wayne Zhang Sexually Assaulted by a Fan During Live Broadcast

Chinese celebrity host Wayne Zhang (张大大·33) was sexually harassed by a female fan during a live broadcast, shocking viewers.

On May 29, China Daily reported that host Zhang was sexually assaulted by an obsessive fan while conducting a live broadcast. According to the report, the fan who stormed the stage unexpectedly kissed Zhang.

Zhang was chosen as the host of the program Single Kitchen (单身厨房). While filming the live broadcast, a woman with a black hat covering her face rushed onto the stage.

The woman with her face covered embraced Zhang and repeatedly kissed him. Soon after, security personnel intervened. Even in the urgent situation, Zhang expressed concern for the woman, saying, “Don’t pull her. Don’t yank her.”

Three burly security personnel restrained the woman and escorted her off the stage. The woman showed no remorse and shouted, “I really love Zhang,” as she was led away.

The video capturing Zhang and the obsessive fan was shared across online communities, sparking heated discussions among viewers.

Zhang and the program’s producers have not yet commented on the incident.

Wayne Zhang has been active as a host in China since 2010.

Zhang hosts Single Kitchen, a dating program in which single men and women cook on the spot and get to know each other.
