BTS’s Jungkook visited Yeoncheon to celebrate leader Jin’s military discharge.

Jin completed his mandatory military service at the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, on June 12. All BTS members currently serving in the military, except for Suga, took a leave of absence to celebrate Jin’s discharge in front of the Yeoncheon base. Reuniting after a long time, Jungkook warmly embraced Jin with a bright smile as he came out of the base. Despite the fans’ delight in the heartwarming reunion, the fans were shocked to discover something new that caught their eye.

Even from a distance, fans noticed a distinct burn mark on Jungkook’s left arm, leaving them worried. The burn could have occurred while on duty serving as a cook in the military.

Jungkook had showcased his cooking skills before enlisting by sharing his homemade pasta and other dishes on Weverse.

Jungkook updated fans on Weverse in March, “I’m doing well. I am working out diligently. I’m cleaning thoroughly, from floor to ceiling. I’m also cooking well.”

During his military service, Jungkook released a fan song titled “Never Let Go” on June 7, which contains a message to his fans.

The song, which Jungkook personally wrote and composed, was a significant gift for fans and topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 96 countries, including the U.S., Italy, and Japan.
