BTS Jimin was voted top spot in May’s “Best Pick of the Month” poll.
The global fandom platform UPICK announced on June 24 that Jimin of BTS was the final winner.
Jimin held a high position in the May “Pick of the Month” poll and successfully advanced to the “Best Pick of the Month,” where he ultimately secured the top spot with 134,234,633 votes. As a reward for this achievement, a large-scale billboard featuring him was displayed in Times Square, New York.
The billboard displayed in Time Square at 1530 Broadway from June 23 held special significance for ARMY because it was designed by the fan base to honor Jimin’s win.
Since enlisting last December, Jimin has been fulfilling his mandatory military duties in South Korea. The genuine support from the ARMY continues even during his military service, with fans excitedly waiting for the whole band’s activities after all members are discharged.
UPICK conducts monthly polls on various topics and was selected as the official voting app for the 2024 K World Dream Awards at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on August 22.
K-pop fans are delighted and await detailed announcements through the UPICK app and official social media channels regarding the popularity vote and ticket event for the 2024 K World Dream Awards, which are scheduled to open in early July.
