Former EXO member Kris Wu has been behind bars for three years for sexual assault charges. It has been reported that his mother is attempting to sell his car.
A Chinese car broker recently posted a picture with the caption, “It’s Wu’s car. Yes, that’s right.”
The post drew attention from online users who speculated, “Is his mom selling it?” The broker also mentioned that a few doubted the authenticity of Wu’s orange car. However, he explained that the orange car was used in Canada.
Wu returned to China after leaving EXO and was charged with sexual assault in 2021. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison and was deported by the Chinese authorities. He was charged with assembling a crowd to engage in sexual assault. He is expected to be released in his 40s.
Wu’s car was initially priced at 15.35 million yuan (approx. $2 million), but Wu’s mother estimated its value at 6 million yuan (approx. $825,000).
