IVE’s Wonyoung recently opened up about her casual style during her downtime and shared some beauty tips in a new video for Vogue Korea.
In the September 2 video titled “What is IVE Jang Won Young’s Beauty Routine?” Wonyoung discussed the role of styling in her performances. She explained, “When performing the same song repeatedly, styling changes come through outfits, hair, and makeup. Hair changes are the most noticeable, so I like experimenting with unique hairstyles.”
On her favorite off-duty outfits, she said, “I like to switch up my looks. Sometimes I go for a more feminine, dressed-up style, and other times I opt for a laid-back, casual look, like in the photos.”
Wonyoung also shared her updated hair and scalp care routine, revealing, “I used to shampoo right away, but now I brush my hair before shampooing to help remove impurities from the scalp. So, I’ve made brushing my hair a routine before showering.”
Looking ahead to the rest of 2024, she mentioned her wish to celebrate Christmas with a party. “I’ve realized how important Christmas is to me, and it’s been a while since I had a Christmas party. I hope to enjoy a Christmas party with the people I love this year.”
When asked about her approach to having a “Lucky Vicky day,” Wonyoung said, “Even the smallest things can be significant. If I appreciate and find beauty in each little thing, I believe I can have a Lucky Vicky day.”
