Jennie’s Italian Getaway: BLACKPINK Star Embraces New Role in ‘My Name is Gabriel’

TV Report Views

Jennie of BLACKPINK unveils her transformation into a guesthouse owner in the latest episode of JTBC’s My Name is Gabriel, airing on Friday. In this episode, viewers will see Jennie take on the role of Maria, a guesthouse owner, for 72 hours in a picturesque setting reminiscent of Italy, complete with charming landscapes.

On this day, Jennie will visit a mansion surrounded by a sprawling vineyard and olive trees. She intriguingly asks, “Is there anyone who’s been kidnapped while working?” leaving viewers eager to learn more.

Jennie also shares a personal story about her connection to horses, recalling, “During my study abroad in New Zealand, I wanted to be near horses so much that I even sacrificed my vacation.” This heartfelt anecdote adds depth to her character.

As a guesthouse owner, Jennie’s skills in guest pickups, food preparation, and serving create a delightful contrast to her proficient driving and English abilities, generating high expectations among fans.

Meanwhile, Jennie has recently garnered attention due to indoor smoking and dating rumors. She faced controversy after inadvertently blowing smoke in a staff member’s face while filming a vlog. In response, her agency stated, “Jennie regrets smoking indoors and the inconvenience it caused to other staff members. She has also personally apologized to the staff present at the time.”

In the wake of these incidents, Jennie was spotted with GOT7 member BamBam in the US, fueling dating rumors. Her agency clarified, “They are just friends who shared a meal together.”
