IVE surprised its agency staff with a food truck experience, turning an ordinary day into a fun and tasty event.

In the latest episode of its ongoing YouTube series 1, 2, 3 IVE 5 EP.2, released Tuesday on its official channel, the K-pop girl group set up a food truck at its agency’s headquarters, Starship Entertainment. Rather than the usual late-night convenience store snacks, the group opted to go all out with a food truck — tailored to their own preferences. The idea was first suggested by member An Yujin, who was surprised when it was brought up.

During the planning process, Jang Wonyoung jokingly asked Gaeul, “Aren’t you interested in business?” Gaeul admitted, “It’s true. I love cooking shows, so I was the one most eager to recommend the food truck idea.”

The menu was a crowd-pleaser, featuring steak rice bowls, churros, so tteok so tteok (a Korean-style skewer with sausage and rice cakes), sandwiches, and cookies. Jang Wonyoung volunteered to make egg sandwiches and asked Gaeul to join her, but Gaeul preferred to focus on perfecting the so tteok so tteok sauce. Meanwhile, Lee Seo, Rei, and An Yujin decided who would handle the task of making promotional stickers by playing rock-paper-scissors. The roles were set: Jang Wonyoung and Lee Seo took charge of the egg sandwiches, Liz and Gaeul handled the so tteok so tteok sauce, and An Yujin and Rei took care of the stickers.

Jang Wonyoung and Lee Seo were tasked with making a variety of toasts, aiming for a total of 50 servings. At one point, Jang Wonyoung wondered aloud, “Do you think we can make them all of them?” Initially confident, she joked, “This is easy. Egg sandwiches are nothing.” However, with only 30 minutes left, she realized they were running short on time. “We’ll have to cut them smaller to stretch the servings,” she said. “Just take one bite each—we’re on a time crunch!”

Eventually, after completing the toasts, Jang Wonyoung declared, “Okay, we’re done!” But Lee Seo surprised her by continuing to add more bread. Laughing, Jang Wonyoung joked, “Did you add more?” which made the whole team giggle.

Meanwhile, An Yujin and Rei had finished the sticker task and jumped into promotional duties, handing out stickers to the crowd. Gaeul and Liz, after some struggle to perfect the so tteok so tteok sauce, finally nailed it and joined the plating station to help assemble the steak rice bowls. The staff thoroughly enjoyed the food, and as a bonus surprise, K.Will made a special cameo to wrap up the event.

After the food truck event wrapped up, Jang Wonyoung couldn’t help but celebrate. “For my very first business venture, where else would you see such sales? We’ve made a sales legend!” she cheered. But she quickly added, “On the other hand, our energy is completely drained.”

An Yujin shared her thoughts, saying, “I was shocked by how many people showed up. It was chaotic and exhausting, but seeing everyone — especially the staff — enjoy the rice bowls and eat happily made me feel so proud.”
