Moon Ga Bi Talks Plastic Surgery, Body Confidence, and Personal Style in Resurfaced Video

A video in which Moon Ga Bi addresses plastic surgery rumors has resurfaced just as her name is being brought up in the recent scandal involving actor Jung Woo Sung and an alleged child from an extramarital affair.

The video, originally from a 2018 MBC’s Section TV Entertainment News interview, has gained attention once again. Moon Ga Bi sat with stylist and TV personality Kim Woo Ri during the interview. Section TV ran until January 2020 before ending its broadcast.

Moon Ga Bi discussed the misunderstandings she often faces because of her exotic appearance, sharing a humorous anecdote: “When I visit Thailand, people greet me with ‘Sawasdee Ka,’ and I tell them, ‘Sorry, I don’t speak Thai.'”

She also took the opportunity to address the ongoing rumors about her having plastic surgery, responding with refreshing honesty. “I did get double eyelid surgery,” she admitted. “I don’t hide it. If anyone asks, I’m always open about it. I’m very straightforward about these things.” She clarified, “People often think I’ve had a lot of work done, but it’s really just my eyes that I changed.”

Regarding her frequent bikini photos on social media, Moon Ga Bi explained that she isn’t posting them for validation or to hear compliments. “I post them because I feel good about my body,” she added, saying she’s relatively unfazed by negative comments. “When I see them, I just think, Oh, okay.” Moon Ga Bi also recalled some criticism that she looked transgender, to which she thought, Maybe I just have an androgynous vibe.

On a more personal note, Moon Ga Bi shared that she handles all styling aspects. “I believe no one can style me better than I can,” she said, exuding confidence. “I really love myself.”
