Police have arrested a mother in her twenties after allegedly murdering her six-month-old baby by throwing the child out of a window.

Earlier, Ms. A is accused of killing her daughter by throwing her out of the window of her 15th-floor apartment in Geumho-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju, around 6:20 am that day.
According to police investigations, Ms. A committed the crime in a fit of anger after having a dispute with her spouse over financial issues and when her spouse left the house.
Upon returning home and finding the baby missing, the spouse reported to the police. Ms. A was arrested on the spot by the responding officers.
The baby, who was found on the first floor of the apartment, was transported to the hospital by the fire department but eventually passed away.

Last month, another shocking incident occurred where a woman was accused of killing her two-day-old baby and disposing of the body in a trash bag on the street.
The Gwangju District Prosecutor’s Office Women and Children’s Crime Investigation Department (Chief Prosecutor Jeong Hee-seon) announced that they had arrested and indicted woman B on charges of murder and abandoning a corpse.
The police urgently arrested Ms. B after discovering the incident during a full-scale investigation of unreported children who only had temporary newborn numbers.
