Local media captured the situation of Kim Jong-un changing his vehicle at the National Mothers’ Conference held in Pyongyang on the 3rd and 4th. At the conference, where he also shed tears over the low birth rate crisis, he arrived in his vehicle in front of the Pyongyang Gymnasium to take commemorative photos with the people.

Looking closely at the car he drove, you can see the Maybach emblem and the S650 logo. This vehicle, which has never been spotted before, is presumed to have been changed relatively recently. The vehicle was confirmed to be the S-class, the top trim S650 of Mercedes Maybach, which was released in 2019.

The Maybach S650 boasts a massive body size with a length of 5,465mm (214.96 inches), a width of 1,915mm (75.39 inches), a height of 1,500mm (59.05 inches), and a wheelbase of 3,365mm (132.48 inches). It is equipped with a V12 gasoline twin-turbo engine for the powertrain, boasting a maximum output of 630 horsepower and a maximum torque of 102.2 kg.m (737.56 lb.ft) of performance. The price of the basic model without any additional options is $264,000.

The S650 applies a vertical radiator grille that is different from the S560. The three-row LED headlamp enhances sophistication, and the smooth and simple side character lines, rear chrome lines, and three-row tail lamps also enhance luxury. Inside, it is equipped with a dual 12.3-inch display with integrated navigation, ambient light, and two displays in the second row.

There can be no problem with a dictator enjoying expensive luxury goods. The biggest problem is that the Maybach car is subject to the export ban to North Korea by the UN Security Council. The car at that time was different from the recently spotted car, as there was no Maybach emblem on the car, and there were no S650 letters on the trunk.
