A married man in his 30s recently shared a post online that sparked debate. Mr. Chang wrote that he and his wife, Mrs. Song, lived happily without a single argument over the past decade. However, after suffering from a chronic illness last year, Mr. Chang lost some physical functionalities, which significantly changed his relationship with his wife.

“My wife’s attitude has drastically become indifferent. She goes outside every evening for a workout, riding her electric bike, and returning home after two to three hours,” he said. Initially, Mr. Chang didn’t consider this a problem. But as his wife’s outings became more frequent, he started to feel something was off and decided to check the neighborhood’s security cameras.

The CCTV footage showed his wife riding her electric bike out, waiting for a gray sedan, staying in the car for about two to three hours, and then coming out.

Upon seeing this, Mr. Chang said, “I was furious when I found this footage. I confronted my wife when she got home, but she insists she was exercising.”

Confused by his wife’s adamant stance, Mr. Chang posted the CCTV footage on an online community.

He asked the community, “I’m not sure whether the sedan driver is a man or a woman,” and “Is there a sport you can do inside a car?” The story quickly went viral. Most viewers online left comments such as, “It’s clear infidelity. What can she do in a car for two hours?” “You need to catch them in the act,” and “There’s enough room for suspicion.”

However, some wrote, “We shouldn’t suspect each other arbitrarily,” “As a husband and wife, we need to trust each other,” and “It’s still somewhat vague to call it infidelity.”
