After receiving a sudden warning that “You shouldn’t use window shades in your home” from an elderly neighbor living in a nearby building, a young woman who lives in an apartment in Jiangsu, China, shared the shocking tale of discovering that her window shades still allowed strangers to see through the gaps even though they were closed shut.
“It seems the quality of your window shades isn’t very good,” the neighbor shared after it seemed like the young woman didn’t understand. She suspected something was wrong and investigated the window shades installed in her bathroom. Shockingly, she found that her neighbors living on higher floors could see into her bathroom despite her closed window shades, as everything was still visible through the gaps.
She was appalled to realize she had exposed herself to her neighbors for the last three years.
