Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles (Academy Museum of Motion Pictures)]South Korean entertainment powerhouse CJ ENM is set to host a star-studded celebration of Korean pop culture in Los Angeles.

The event, titled “K-Culture Night at the Academy Museum with KCON,” is scheduled for July 31 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. It precedes CJ ENM’s flagship K-pop fan and artist festival, KCON LA 2025, which runs from August 1-3.

This celebration stems from a strategic partnership between CJ ENM and the Academy Museum, one of the world’s premier institutions dedicated to the art and science of filmmaking. The collaboration, established in March, aims to expand programming opportunities for Korean and Asian creators, underscoring their shared commitment to spotlighting diverse creative voices.

Set to take place at the museum’s David Geffen Theater, “K-Culture Night at the Academy Museum with KCON” will showcase a diverse array of performances celebrating the rich tapestry of Korean pop culture. From K-pop and TV dramas to cinema and dance, the evening promises to be an interactive platform for global fans to engage with Korean talent.

The event will be hosted by multi-talented artist Eric Nam, with special appearances by a star-studded lineup. Guests can look forward to performances by acclaimed dancer Choi Ho-jong, Japanese girl group Is:sue, singer Lee Young-ji, and K-pop boy band P1Harmony. Actor Im Si-wan, who gained international recognition for his role in the Netflix hit series Squid Game, is also set to make an appearance.

“As KCON marks its 13th anniversary this year, hosting this event in Hollywood – the epicenter of global entertainment – symbolizes a new chapter for K-culture,” a CJ ENM spokesperson stated. “It represents a significant milestone in the global recognition and appreciation of Korean entertainment.”

While the event has officially sold out with no advance tickets remaining, hope isn’t lost for last-minute attendees. Standby tickets may be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity. This high demand underscores the growing global appetite for Korean cultural content and the success of CJ ENM’s efforts to bridge cultures through entertainment.
