I realized it’s been a while since I cleaned my washing machine. Today, I’ll show you how to easily clean your washing machine with used toothpaste, a detergent box, and a drain filter.

– Used toothpaste
– Towel to wipe off moisture

This is the toothpaste I use at home.

It’s a toothpaste dispenser I bought from Modern House.​ It can be used for toothpaste and Aesop and L’Occitane hand cream to squeeze them out to the very end.

Please prepare the used toothpaste.

Twist off the plastic lid and throw it away.​ Cut it in half with scissors. You can see the toothpaste is gathered inside.

I have a 24kg Samsung Grande drum washing machine, which I got as a wedding gift. I often conveniently clean it using used toothpaste.

1️⃣ Cleaning the washing drum with used toothpaste

STEP 1: Put toothpaste in the washing machine and run the “detergent-free drum cleaning mode.”

Throw the cut toothpaste into the washing machine. You can also put in a towel or dishcloth.

My Samsung Grande washing machine has a detergent-free drum cleaning mode. Please run this.

After the detergent-free drum cleaning mode is finished, you will see the toothpaste cleaned like this.

STEP 2: Wipe off the moisture with a towel and leave the washing machine door open to dry

After cleaning the washing machine, you need to wipe the washing machine door. Use a Spontex or a towel; use whatever you find convenient.
