▲Abdominal Massage

This is the most immediate method that can be easily done. First, lie comfortably on the bed and rub your palms to warm your hands. Then, press your fingers in a clockwise direction from the right side of your abdomen above the pelvis. If you feel discomfort, you can gently apply pressure with your palm.

▲Fomentation

If you’re indoors, placing a warm heating pad or a hot pack on your stomach is good. As your body temperature rises, your muscles naturally relax, reducing pain. However, if the stomachache persists even after pain control, you must visit a hospital and receive a professional examination.

▲Drinking Warm Tea

Avoid drinking cold beverages like iced Americano or juice during times of stomach discomfort. Instead, try drinking warm known for stomach-soothing properties, such as ginger, chamomile, plum, and peppermint tea.

▲Resting Horizontally

When experiencing stomach pain and seeking relief, lying in the correct posture can be helpful. Lying horizontally in a comfortable environment for about 30 minutes can alleviate pain. During this time, it’s best to keep your stomach warm by placing a hot pack, as mentioned earlier, on your stomach.

▲Calm Breathing

Stomach pain often leads to irregular breathing patterns characterized by shallow breaths. In such cases, you must calm your breathing, consciously breathe, and relax your body. Take a deep breath and then slowly exhale. Once your breathing returns to normal, you’ll likely experience significant pain relief.
