Troubled Singer Nathan Ngai Hospitalized After Beach Incident

TV Report Views

Hong Kong singer Nathan Ngai, a participant in “King Maker V,” was found unconscious and has been hospitalized.

According to ET Today, on March 18, Hong Kong singer Nathan Ngai, a former contestant on “King Maker 5,” was found on the beach and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

In 2023, Ngai made headlines when his former girlfriend Jessie, whom he was dating during his appearance on “King Maker V,” committed suicide.

Ngai’s popularity in “King Maker V” was overshadowed by controversy. His ex-girlfriend’s family alleged that he pressured his girlfriend to delete social media photos of them together, reportedly through financial means. This criticism intensified when it emerged the location where she made a concerning choice was the same building where Ngai previously lived. Facing immense pressure, Ngai withdrew from the competition on July 16, the finals day.

Ngai began a new relationship less than three months after the controversy surrounding his ex-girlfriend. This development sparked online criticism, with some questioning the speed of his latest relationship and others expressing disapproval.

In response, Ngai deleted all of his social media posts. He posted a message concerning his struggles, sharing, “Sorry for everything. Goodbye, world.”

According to reports, Ngai’s family contacted authorities around 2 AM on March 18 after discovering a concerning social media post. Following a search near his residence, officers found Ngai distressed on the beach. Fortunately, he was transported to a hospital for treatment.
