Kim Se Jeong’s European Diary: From Louvre Selfies to Swiss Shin Ramyun

Singer and actress Kim Se Jeong shared updates from her overseas travels on Instagram. She announced that she began her journey in Europe and is currently in Guam. Before heading to Guam, she enjoyed traveling through various European cities.

Let’s look at her travel route along with the photos Kim Se Jeong shared.

She started her trip in Paris, France, visiting iconic places like any other tourist. She shared photos of her visit to the Louvre Museum, where she took a museum tour with an audio guide.

The Louvre Museum is one of the top three art museums in Paris. It houses around 460,000 works, including the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Kim Se Jeong also took a commemorative photo before the Eiffel Tower before leaving Paris for Switzerland.

Upon arriving in Switzerland, Kim Se Jeong started her essential Swiss journey with a trip to Jungfrau. She enjoyed her Swiss trip with a happy smile. At 4,158 meters, Jungfrau Mountain is the third-highest mountain in the Alps. You can see picturesque landscapes covered in pure white snow under a blue sky from there.

At an altitude of 3,454 meters, the Jungfraujoch observation deck is located, where Shin Ramyun cup noodles are sold. Enjoying Shin Ramyun while admiring the dazzling scenery is truly a delight. Kim Se Jeong enjoyed her Swiss trip by eating Shin Ramyun at this spot.

Kim Se Jeong then left Switzerland to go to Italy. Upon arriving in Rome, Italy, she visited the city’s landmarks. First, she took a photo in front of the Trevi Fountain, holding a gelato. The Trevi Fountain, a landmark of Rome, is a Baroque-style building carved from a single stone.

The Trevi Fountain is considered the most beautiful fountain in Rome and one of the most beautiful in the world. Rome is home to over 2,000 fountains, among which the Trevi Fountain is a symbolic landmark.

Visitors often throw coins into the Trevi Fountain. Kim Se Jeong, too, threw coins into the fountain. There’s a saying that if you throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, you’ll return to Rome; throwing two coins leads to falling in love, and throwing three leads to marriage with your lover.

The Trevi Fountain is famous for accumulating a tremendous amount of coins each year. Last year, the coins collected from the Trevi Fountain amounted to approximately $1.9 million. The collected coins are cleaned, sorted, and donated to charities.

During her visit to Rome, Kim Se Jeong also visited the Colosseum, an iconic landmark and amphitheater of Rome, built in AD 80, where gladiators once battled with wild beasts.

The Colosseum is an architectural masterpiece representing the grandeur of the Roman Empire. Astonishingly, it has maintained its circular shape for over 2,000 years. The Colosseum is a historic Rome site that over six million people visit annually.

Kim Se Jeong shared a certified photo with the Colosseum as the background. She also mentioned that she ate gelato every day in Italy. She enjoyed a fulfilling trip, including a tour of the Vatican.

Kim Se Jeong then traveled from Rome to Naples, a city in the southeast of Italy. UNESCO listed Naples as a world heritage site, rich in Roman ruins. The Port of Naples is considered one of the world’s top three beautiful ports.

She visited Sant’Elmo Castle, a landmark of Naples built in 1583 for defensive purposes and used as a prison. Now, Sant’Elmo Castle serves as a museum and an observation deck, a must-visit for tourists in Naples.

From there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of downtown Naples, which is breathtakingly beautiful. Kim Se Jeong expressed her happiness throughout her travels in France, Switzerland, and Italy.
