Big Mac Survives Year-Long Time Warp, No Mold in Sight

A Year-Old Hamburger Still in Pristine Condition
Purchased for Observation of Changes Over Time
Shows No Color Change or Signs of Mold

New York Post

A hamburger left untouched for over a year is drawing attention as it remains in pristine condition despite the passage of time.

According to the New York Post, on February 22, British herbalist Naa Adjeley Tsofanye posted her video on TikTok.

Tsofanye experimented with her purchase of McDonald’s Big Mac and fries on February 2 last year to see how they would change over time when left on a plate.

Tsofanye announced the surprising results after keeping the hamburger for 1 year and 3 weeks.

Shockingly, there were no signs of color change or mold, and it appeared similar to its original state.

TRUE

“There are no signs of mold. The lettuce has not completely dried out and still retains some moisture,” Tsofanye explained.

She also questioned how lettuce, which had not been watered or exposed to sunlight, could maintain its color.

Tsofanye stated that she plans to conduct a follow-up experiment, monitoring both the lettuce and the burger over time to determine whether their longevity is due to specific characteristics or the environment of the burger.

The video’s viewers reacted, such as, “This is scary. Didn’t the meat rot? Was there a secret to the Big Mac?”
