A viral doll-like figure featured on ABEMA news was identified as Takuma Tani, a 46-year-old father of two.

Tani, who distinguishes himself as a heterosexual man based on an interview with ABEMA, is known for posting drag on social media. He shared that his viral eye-catching appearance was staged with makeup, and he has received compliments from his two daughters.

He shared how he first got involved in drag: “A female student who was supposed to model got a fever on the day of the shoot, and I heard they were urgently looking for a replacement.” He continued, “They told me, ‘Takuya, you have a small build, so the clothes should fit you. We’ll edit it with Photoshop, so you have to wear it.’ That’s how I ended up doing drag as a substitute for a female model. I use filters or adjust the brightness myself. While I want to rely on AI as much as possible, I often find myself on stage. That’s why I’m so obsessed with wanting to look beautiful in real life.”

Tani confessed that he has maintained a weight of 43 kg (95 lbs) as of June this year.

People online commented on how cute and feminine he looked, noting that he appeared to have stepped out of a storybook.
