A 36-year-old man in Thailand was arrested after performing penis enlargement procedures for 20 years without medical training.

Following an undercover investigation, Kittikon Songsri, a resident of Samut Sakhon in central Thailand, was confronted by the police. He admitted that for the previous 20 years, he performed penis enlargement procedures without a medical license, claiming to have picked up the skills on his own when he was just 14 years old.

He claimed to operate on two or three patients per month and advertised his services on social media. But he was apprehended when a patient with a severe infection alerted the authorities of his malpractice.

Collaborating with the Health Service Support Department, police disguised an investigator as a patient to receive the procedure. They arrested Songsri during a raid at his townhouse while he was performing surgery. He acknowledged that he only completed his education through the third year of middle school and had no formal medical training.

Songsri admitted to the police that in the last 20 years, he’s been charging between 5,000 baht (approximately $150) and 20,000 baht (roughly $600) for his services. He now faces charges for providing unauthorized medical services and illegal medical practices.

He is expected to face further legal action because of complications that one of his patients encountered. The silicon Songsri implanted resulted in infections and erectile dysfunction in this patient, with problems allegedly persisting even after treatment.

Many people were shocked to learn that Songsri had been operating illegally on patients for 20 years without getting caught.
