According to local communities such as Weibo and media reports, an accident occurred on May 1st at around 2:30 p.m. in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China, when a Tesla Model Y rushed into the parking lot. Videos of the accident quickly spread through social media. The unveiled video showed the moment the accident occurred and the scene afterward.

In the video, which is speculated to be the black box screen of an oncoming vehicle, a vehicle is seen bouncing between cars parked in a street parking lot. The accident vehicle, which rose high into the air as if it had crashed hard somewhere while traveling at high speed, rolled about ten times and stopped in the middle of the road.

Both passengers were conscious and unharmed
Their lives are not in danger

Because it was such a significant accident, it was expected that the occupants would be seriously injured or killed, as well as considerable damage to life and property. Surprisingly, the woman in the driver’s seat and the man in the passenger seat were found intact. Both people were seen to be bleeding, and the female driver was moaning in pain but did not lose consciousness.

The man in the passenger seat is seen using his cell phone as if trying to report it to the rescue team, as citizens passing by did not provide any relief measures. According to local media reports, among the passengers, a woman suffered severe injuries, and a man sustained minor injuries. In addition, two passers-by nearby were reported to have suffered minor injuries. It is said that the severe injuries are not life-threatening, and all are currently receiving treatment.

The accident occurred while trying to avoid a pedestrian

Meanwhile, nine vehicles, including the Tesla Model Y and the car parked in the parking lot, were damaged in this accident, and nearby road facilities were also damaged. Local public security police believe that the driver caused the accident while trying to avoid pedestrians. Once the passengers recover, more detailed details of the accident will be investigated.
