Stitched Up: Cybertruck Owner’s Gruesome Injury Sparks Safety Concerns

Tesla’s Cybertruck. Controversy over defects in the vehicle has been ongoing for some time, and a recent post on the Cybertruck forum became a hot topic. A man who claimed to be the owner of a Cybertruck complained that he was seriously injured by the Cybertruck.

He revealed that he injured his leg due to the Cybertruck’s door panel and even needed stitches. The Tesla Cybertruck’s manual warns to be careful of the door panel corners, but many people don’t pay attention.

Cybertruck Owner Mentions His Leg Got Injured From Door Panel

One Tesla Cybertruck owner posted on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum that he needed stitches after injuring his leg while getting out of his Cybertruck. In his post, he emphasized that one must be careful when closing the door of the Cybertruck, and he revealed that he parked the truck on a ramp and got out, but when he closed the door, his leg got caught in the corner of the door panel.

The writer of the post said that he closed the door near the edge of the door panel, thinking the edge of the door panel was not that sharp, but his leg was scratched, and suffered serious injuries. A photo of his bloodied leg and a photo of the corner of the Cybertruck’s door panel has been included in his post.

Cybertruck’s Manual Contains Warning of Door Panel

The author of the post said, “When I came home with an injured leg, my wife looked at the wound and said I needed to go get stitches, so I did that.” He also said, “But I still love the Cybertruck,” and “The accident was caused by my carelessness.” The Tesla Cybertruck’s manual warns, “Use caution when around the edges of the Cybertruck’s panels, including the doors, power frunk (front + trunk), tailgate, and surrounding panels.”

Additionally, in the manual, it has been stated that when opening the Cybertruck’s doors, always hold the top door and keep your hands and fingers away from the edges of the door panels. Additionally, it has been stated that if the front and rear doors are not opened according to the correct procedures, it may result in an injury.

Read the Manual Before Use

Another Cybertruck owner said he injured his finger intentionally trying to close the vehicle’s frunk to test the safety sensors after seeing a viral video of him testing the frunk sensor by closing it with his finger. Accordingly, Tesla urged owners of the Cybertruck to carefully read the warnings in the manual and use the Cybertruck.
