The Supercar Industry Bows to SUVs
What if they ventured into minivan development?
Looking at the renderings by brand

Rendering of Ferrari Minivan

Once dominated by sedans, the automobile market has now shifted its focus to SUVs. As the appeal of practical SUVs soared, the trend was so compelling that even the supercar industry, which once resisted the SUV craze, eventually succumbed.

Premium minivans are on the rise these days. What if the supercar industry decided to explore the minivan market in the future, following their foray into SUVs? Let’s examine intriguing renderings of potential minivans from Ferrari, McLaren, and Bentley—brands renowned for their supercars and luxury vehicles.

The rendering of McLaren’s minivan retains the essence of a supercar, with a bold rear design that stands out.

The generative AI rendering of this McLaren minivan retains the hallmark traits of the brand’s high-performance vehicles. The design exudes a supercar’s essence, highlighted by headlight-integrated air ducts, a sharp front splitter, and prominent bonnet vents. Long, sleek side mirrors are engineered to reduce blind spots, complementing the minivan’s wide body. Notably, the door handles are concealed within the side vents, mirroring the design approach of McLaren’s existing supercars.

At the rear, the minivan adopts a bold, aggressive stance. The tail lamps curve slightly and extend into the rear quarter panels, emphasizing a horizontal layout. Below the raised upper spoiler, a uniquely styled auxiliary brake light is positioned. The steeply angled D-pillar is designed to enhance aerodynamic performance. Twin muffler tips, set between a large rear diffuser, suggest the presence of a potent internal combustion engine.

Bentley’s close to SUV
Is it the influence of Bentayga?

The Bentley minivan bears a strong resemblance to the previously launched Bentayga SUV. Its design maintains an SUV-like proportion, with a notably compact engine bay that enhances its minivan profile. The large wheels contribute to a sportier appearance, while the elevated roofline promises ample headroom in the third row.

At the rear, the design takes on a distinct character. Integrated side steps blend seamlessly with the lower rear bumper garnish, and the tail lamps are striking in their bold simplicity. The rear window is nearly vertical, underscoring the minivan’s unique identity. The rear fender subtly highlights the side character line, while the muffler tips feature a distinctive design with varying sizes, adding to the vehicle’s unique aesthetic.

The most radical Ferrari vehicle
Future-oriented emotion

The Ferrari minivan astonishes with its strikingly radical design. The A-pillar, originating from the bonnet line, is angled almost diagonally, enhancing the driver’s visibility with its expansive vent glass. The headlights, seamlessly integrated into the front bumper and grille, convey the aggressive styling that Ferrari is known for.

At the rear, the design is more restrained but still unconventional for a minivan. Echoing Ferrari’s supercar lineage, the large rear diffuser stands out. A separate lamp positioned to the license plate’s right likely serves as a reverse or rear fog light. The muffler tips are arranged in an unusual configuration, with four on each side, further emphasizing the vehicle’s unique character.
