Notable figures like Michael Jordan often spark interest among collectors, and today, we’ll focus on his automotive legacy.

Michael Jordan, widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time, has amassed an impressive collection of cars that reflects his illustrious career and fame. The vehicle previously owned by Michael Jordan, listed by the U.S. used vehicle dealer TBTFW, is a 2007 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. However, this is no ordinary car; it’s a special edition known as the 722 Edition, created to honor motorsports legend Stirling Moss and his iconic vehicle number 722, which competed at the Mille Miglia in 1955.

The 722 Edition holds exceptionally high value among its peers due to enhanced output and performance compared to the standard SLR McLaren. With only 300 units produced worldwide, this model commands a price exceeding $600,000. The rich history behind this limited edition further elevates its desirability and significance among collectors.

As previously mentioned, the SLR McLaren 722 Edition further enhances this performance. It delivers 659 horsepower, an increase of 33 horsepower over the standard model, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds. The top speed of the 722 Edition reaches 337 km/h (209 mph), making it approximately 3 km/h (1.9 mph) faster than its predecessor.
