Subaru, well-known for producing a range of vehicles, from compact cars to durable SUVs, has carved out a significant share of the North American market. One of its standout models is the Subaru BRZ, a sports car developed in collaboration with Toyota. Sharing its platform with the Toyota GR86, the BRZ embodies the essence of a Japanese sports car, offering a balance of performance and value.

Subaru has now teased an upcoming limited edition BRZ, sparking excitement among enthusiasts. Here’s what sets this exclusive model apart, based on the recently released teaser and available information.

Exclusive Galaxy Purple Color and Interior Enhancements

Only one teaser image has been officially released. It shows the BRZ inside a shipping container, its silhouette highlighted in a striking Galaxy Purple Pearl exterior color. This bold new color will be exclusive to the limited edition, with only 500 units produced.

The model also features 18-inch wheels with a satin silver finish, further distinguishing it from the standard version. Inside, the BRZ’s sporty appeal is elevated with black ultra-suede upholstery, complemented by gray leather bolsters and gray stitching. Additional touches include an STI start button and an aluminum shift knob, adding a premium feel to the cabin.

Built on the Limited Trim, Maintaining Performance with Upgrades

The limited edition BRZ is based on the existing Limited trim and is equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch infotainment display. Standard features include a premium audio system, automatic climate control, and heated front seats, ensuring high comfort and convenience.

Under the hood, the model retains the 2.4-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, delivering 231 horsepower via a 6-speed STI manual transmission. While the powertrain remains the same, improvements to the driving dynamics aim to provide a more engaging experience compared to the base model.
