Actress Olivia Munn Shares Recent Updates In Fight Against Cancer

tenbizt Views

Fans are shocked to learn about actress Olivia Munn’s recent battle with cancer. In a recent interview with Vogue, Munn revealed she had undergone a hysterectomy and oophorectomy. “I had my uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries removed,” she shared.

Munn, who previously disclosed her battle with breast cancer, is known to have stopped estrogen production to prevent cancer recurrence.

Munn was diagnosed with breast cancer in April last year and underwent a mastectomy.

Munn faced significant challenges following three surgeries and a final reconstructive procedure.

“In reality, I couldn’t prepare for how I would feel, how I would look, or how to handle it emotionally. It was harder than I expected,” she revealed in another interview.

While she did not receive chemotherapy or radiation treatment post-surgery, Munn began hormone suppression therapy, which led to her experiencing menopause.

“I’m grateful for the chance to fight. When I’m with my son, I don’t think about the pain,” she expressed, thanking her family during difficult times.

Olivia Munn has appeared in Iron Man 2, X-Men: Apocalypse, Mortdecai, and The Predator.

She is married to comedian John Mulaney, and they have one son together.
