Yukari Amaiike, a 38-year-old woman from Japan, and Katsumi Yamashita, a 56-year-old man, recently lured an acquaintance into a car and killed her.

The victim, a 40-year-old woman named Noriko Monda, was found buried naked in a field in the town of Higashiura.

In the trial so far, the prosecution has demanded an 18-year prison term, while the defense has argued for a 4-year sentence, claiming diminished responsibility for the murder and body disposal.

Recently, Judge Satoshi Morishima of the Nagoya District Court ruled, “The defendant acted deliberately in the murder, stripped the victim naked, and buried her using cement. This crime deserves severe condemnation.”
