Fans are rallying around actress Shannen Doherty in her fight against breast cancer.

On April 3, according to reports from foreign media outlets like Page Six, actress Shannen Doherty opened up on a podcast about making preparations for her death.

“My top priority right now is my mother,” she said. “I know that if I leave this world before my mother, she will struggle.”

She continued, “I hope other things become easier because it will be too hard for my mother. I wish she didn’t have to deal with too much.” She has started decluttering her home, donating or selling antiques and items she has collected.

She expressed her sorrow, saying, “It was tough and emotional to give up on my dream of building and expanding a home for me and my mother.”

Shannen Doherty first revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in 2015.

Since then, she has undergone a mastectomy and cancer treatment, but the cancer recurred in 2019. She is currently battling stage 4 breast cancer.

In an interview last year, Shannen Doherty said, “I haven’t given up yet,” which makes this recent interview even more heartbreaking for her fans.

At the time, she said, “I don’t want to die yet,” and “I’m still alive. Love isn’t over yet. Creation isn’t over yet. The hope to make the world a better place isn’t over yet. I’m not over yet.”

Shannen Doherty began her career as a child actress. Her notable works include films like “Jay and Silent Bob”, “Burning Palms”, “Bukowski”, “Back in the Day”, and “The Unspoken Truth”.

She gained significant popularity in South Korea through her role in the popular 1990s TV series “Beverly Hills 90210”.
